Thank you for your interest in presenting at this years' Psychiatry Research Day.

There are two steps to the abstract submission process:

Step 1 – Submit the Conflict of Interest (COI) form

  1. Click here to download the form.
  2. Follow the instructions to complete and sign the form (if you are an author AND a presenter please indicate both in Part 2).
  3. Save the form to your computer.
  4. Email Page 3 only of the form to psych.research@dal.ca.

Important: The COI form is required for accreditation purposes. Your abstract will NOT be considered unless both the abstract form and COI form are submitted. The deadline to submit is noon on August 28, 2026.

If you would prefer an oral presentation but there is insufficient program time for your submission to be included as an oral presentation are you prepared to present in poster format?


 
 

Award Category

You may be eligible for an award if you are presenting your own research (RAs are not eligible) and have not won in the past two years.

Note: Posters and oral presentations will be judged together in each category.

 

Abstract Information
 

Please ensure your name and your co-authors' names are entered correctly, and the author order includes your name and is written in the format of (Smith, A., Thompson, Q., & Jones, P.). This information will be printed verbatim in the Research Day Program, so it is important that the information entered is correct and spell checked.

 
 

Submissions should describe the research design and results. Oral presentations are limited to 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.
